Cognac, city of art and history in Charente,

a very beautiful region to explore

visiting Cognac is of course diving into the heart of the cradle of the eau-de-vie of the same name: a vineyard of some 80,000 ha which makes it the largest European vineyard for white grape varieties. But it also means discovering magnificent landscapes, between valleys and hills, crossed by the Charente, dotted with vineyards, Romanesque churches, charming villages and beautiful residences...

There is something for everyone... Cultural and historical visits to discover the prestigious Charentais heritage, "nature" walks and oenological discoveries with tastings but also golf, hiking and cycling, walks in Gabarre on the Charente to the rhythm of water or for lovers of stronger sensations: jet ski, quad or 4X4 ride...

There is definitely no shortage of activities to help you discover our beautiful region, of which we offer you some suggestions here.
